  1. This was fantastic! I use to go to this restaurant where they served chicken curry but the ownership changed and so did the recipe. I have missed that flavor ever since and have tried many different recipes trying to get even close to it. This recipe is that flavor! Thanks so much for posting it!

  2. Good curry. Enough spices and plenty of sauce which we like. Used hot madras curry, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a couple of swirls on the pepper-mill. Since I do not like whole cloves in a curry I used 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. I think that was a little too much and next time I'll use only 1/8 teaspoon. This time I made it with tofu but will make it with chicken too. Thanks for posting. Made for India -- More Than Just Curries Tag Game -- March 2010.

  3. I guess we're not that into Indian curry. We love thai curry. It tasted too a little too sweet and not spicy enough. Kinda like a very mild coconut curry mixed with chai tea? I have some leftovers and am hoping after letting the flavors meld for a while it might taste better.

  4. just made this on a cold snowy day and it was awesome! very aromatic with a such a variety of spice. i made it with spinach because i didn't have green pepper and it worked great. looking forward to trying it with shrimp too!

  5. This is so good!! I can't wait to try this with shrimp or chicken! I did tofu this evening, I didn't have tomato sauce so I used diced tomatoes - good anyway! I messed up on the cinnamon, thought I'd just add a bit of powdered, well the jar tipped and I added a good bit more - good still! Everyone had seconds, will make again THANKS!
