Pork Curry ( for the Ladies)

"This recipe was created with the ladies in mind. Spicy, but not too hot. Simple to prepare and cook. Served with a vegetable dish over rice. The sauce can be thickened with a few table spoons of ground almonds."

  1. For the "ladies" too funny. The TRPV1 activation via the capsaicin in chili peppers in not gender selective. It is a reaction that humans have to agonists, huge hairy men and tiny dainty ladies will all, as one, feel the burn from any such chemical. Wise up...

  2. As a "lady", no where near spicy enough! I grow many different hot peppers and use them in my cooking, and I do not hold back for my lady friends either! :)

  3. This is a really nice and simple to prepare and cook curry. I'm female and don't mind at all re title, I think it's amusing. Lovely taste which can easily be made hotter with additional chilli and spices. Made it with pork and then this evening with chicken and we all enjoyed. Thank you for the recipe :o)

  4. Definitely not spicy enough to satisfy my lady mouth. Shame. Perhaps I'm just not a woman. Oh my God! Thank you for helping my realise I'm actually transgender! Peace.

  5. I made an account to review just so I could say how stupid the title of this recipe is.

Tweaks

  1. About double the cumin, coriander, and chili powder. Added a touch of ginger and soy to boost the bite.

  2. Mine came out really well. I used ghee instead of butter. I like the taste and there's no risk of burning the butter. I added a little salt along with the tomatoes and again at the end. Tasted when meat was tender and added a touch of garam masala but that's a personal thing. An hour for my meat to be tender but it was a cheap cut. Well done, Michael

  3. Garam Masala instead of listed spices. Reduced cooking time.
