Love the idea of adding tomato to raita. Served with Uncle Bill's Barbecue Tandoori Chicken (Uncle Bill's Barbecue Tandoori Chicken), but this would be great as a complement to any curry. I have 2 family members who don't like raw onion, so I substituted chopped scallions (green stalks only).

This is different to the raitas I usually make so I was keen to try it. I don't recall ever adding tomato to a raita before, but it worked really well. This is a pleasant fresh tasting dish, which would also work well as a side dish to other cuisines.
